Farm History:
Albert Sheldon is the descendant of farmers on both sides virtually since their arrival in New England in the 1630's. Both grandfathers were successful potato and dairy farmers. He has been growing and selling sweet corn since the age of 10 and although he is modest about it, "Sheldon Sweet Corn" is widely known in eastern upstate New York and Vermont. The farm's land lies on mineral-rich bottom land along the Battenkill River and White Creek, producing Heirloom potatoes of exceptional flavor.
