Alan and Nancy have been organic gardening and raising animals since they were children growing up in Connecticut. The beef business began in 1967 on a small scale and has grown since then. They breed and raise a small number of pigs each year and are now committed to selling their grass finished vacuum packaged beef and pork directly to the consumer through MyPersonalFarmers.com

Now located in Greenwich, New York, Lewis Waite Farm maintains a root cellar for garden harvest in the winter, a greenhouse for seedlings, winter greens. They compost a large amount of organic matter for our gardens. Although not a certified organic operation, they practice chemical-free techniques on the 450-acre farm.
