About My Personal Farmers Market
Our main mission is to provide the highest quality, locally produced foods throughout the year to the people working and living in Westchester, Putnam, and other areas surrounding us. Our goal is to raise awareness that local foods are better for health, taste, and environmental sustainability. Most importantly, we are committed to the economic growth of our Hudson Valley farmers.
Our secondary mission is to have fun whilst accomplishing the main mission.

Our Background Story:
We are a foodie family – by that we mean we buy at the top quality markets, we dine at better restaurants whenever possible and we love to cook unusual dinners that our friends and family will remember.
When we moved to the Hudson Valley two years ago we enthusiastically pursued a basic education in Hudson Valley foods. We discovered that, while these wonderful foods are produced in our back yard, sometimes they are surprisingly hard to find.
We set out to create a way for more local residents to enjoy Hudson Valley foods—without having to research as much as we did. So many people say “I always think about going to the Farmers Market, and then I forget or get too busy”. What a loss! What is even more tragic is that our farmlands are in jeopardy of disappearing altogether, since our farmers have a more difficult time every year trying to earn enough money for elementary family needs.
So we decided that the simplest way to enjoy these foods AND support our farmers is to create a website that provides concentrated information on our glorious Hudson Valley foods—and a means of conveniently purchasing it.
We would like to be your personal farmer, the link to connecting you to the story of Hudson Valley farming and buying Hudson Valley grown and produced foods.
